7. Jabel Hafeet Climb
Iconic 12km, 8% avg climb in Al Ain. a mountain in the region of Tawam, on the border of the United Arab Emirates and Oman, which may be considered an outlier of Al Hajar Mountains in Eastern Arabia. Due to its proximity to the main Hajar range, the mountain may be considered as being part of the Hajar rang. To the north is the UAE city of Al Ain in the Eastern Region of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and the adjacent Omani town of Al-Buraimi (source Wikipedia).




The District One formerly known as Nad al Sheba Cycle Park and Meydan Loop Road is the area where the majority of the Dubai Roadster’s rides and training happen. We ride in this area regularly, and cars are used to seeing cyclists on the roads in the area. This is also the meeting point for the Dubai Roadsters group rides.

The Al Qudra Cycle Park is a track which runs from near Arabian Ranches out to Bab Al Shams, it runs for a total of around 160km with the recently finished extensions. It is a flat, fast course which is often used for various organised group rides.

The track at Jumeirah Beach provides residents in several of Dubai’s most urbanised districts the opportunity to take advantage of the emirate’s cycling facilities. The first section of the track is four metres wide and runs alongside the existing jogging and walking tracks that extend from Dubai Water Canal to Umm Suqeim Park. The second is three metres wide and runs alongside Jumeirah Street and King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud Street, up to Dubai Internet City.

The track begins close to the main gate of the park and ends at the same point, with three quick-return lanes for those whose legs can’t hack the distance.There are multiple trails to conquer, too, meaning there will always be something new to see on your next ride.Green represents a simple and easy trail that suits beginner cyclists. Blue takes things up a gear to a moderately challenging path suitable for intermediate cyclists and mountain bikers with basic skills.

Al Wathba Cycle Track is one of the best and most scenic cycling destinations in the UAE. Surrounded by miles and miles of desert, this area’s ethereal landscape played a starring role in the film Star Wars: The Force Awakens, with a cycle here promising picturesque vistas, especially during sunrise and sunset.The illuminated track can be broken down into several routes. Beginner cyclists can ride the 8-kilometre or 16-kilometre routes, while expert cyclers can take on the 20-kilometre, 22-kilometre or full 30-kilometre routes.You’ll find this unique track near the Camel Race Track, approximately a 40 to 50-minute drive from Abu Dhabi.
