Zipp Goodyear XPLR Tubeless Ready Gravel Folding Tire - 700x50C

The XPLR models developed in collaboration with Goodyear are part of a wheel and tire system that turns the rules in Gravel sports upside down. The Tubeless tires have been matched to the Hookless rims of the 303 XPLR wheels (S and SW) from ZIPP, which feature an internal width of 32 mm.

Their Dynamic: UHP compound not only improves grip, but also reduces rolling resistance. Meanwhile, the M: Wall reinforcements in the sidewalls provide optimum protection against cuts and punctures, so that riders can get by with the lowest possible air pressure. And finally, the dimensions of the tire beads are designed to not only allow convenient mounting, but also to ensure a secure grip on the TSS rims.

The "Intermediate" version is the most versatile option, making it suitable for any Gravel terrain. The folding tire performs best in dry to variable conditions. The compact center profile allows for fast rolling, while the larger side blocks provide grip and confidence in the corners. Overall, the lightweight and supple construction of the Inter XPLR improves ride quality.

Tubeless Straight Side (TSS) | Hookless Tubeless or Tubeless Straight Side describes the design of the rims. Tubeless-compatible rims can be ridden without a tube, but a setup with a tube is also possible. Hookless or Straight Side describes the shape of the rim flange, which in this case is straight and designed without the classic hook. This design offers advantages in terms of greater impact resistance of carbon rim flanges.
