Shimano SLX CN-M7100 12-Speed MTB Chain

The Shimano SLX CN-M7100 is a 12-speed chain made for riders who want smooth, precise shifting on a Shimano 12-speed drivetrain. The SLX M7100 series brings technologies from Shimano’s high-end XTR group to mountain bikers, including 12-speed shifting, Micro Spline, and Hyperglide+.

The contact surfaces of this chain are shaped to work with Dynamic Chain Engagement+ chainrings and Hyperglide+ cassette teeth. According to Shimano, this gives fast, precise, and smooth shifting in both directions, even under high loads.

The inner plates carry SIL-TEC coating, a surface plating technology that adds a low-friction treatment. Shimano says this helps the chain run smoother and last longer.

The chain is suited to MTB and Allroad / Gravel use, and it is e-bike compatible. An SM-CN910-12 Quick Link connector is included for installation.
