- OVERVIEW
- SPECIFICATIONS
Even with the components of the 9200 Dura Ace series, Shimano offers you the best that is currently available on the market. The years of experience of the Japanese can be seen in every detail. Regardless of functionality, durability or weight, top values are achieved everywhere.
In contrast to the disc brake version, Shimano continues to rely on secure, wired communication between the shift components for the shift / brake levers for rim brakes. By eliminating the Junction A distributor, however, the installation is significantly simplified and a cleaner look is achieved with fewer components. The optimized cone shape and surface structure of the shifters ensure improved control and even more confidence under racing conditions. Of course, the reach can be individually adjusted. The precise pressure point of the gear lever ensures that gear changes are only triggered when the driver consciously shifts. Accidental operation is not to be feared. This system can be fully personalized with the Shimano E-Tube app. The switching logic is also adapted to the driver's preferences. Among other things, the switching speed can be set, a fully or semi-synchronous switching mode selected and the program buttons on the lever assigned certain functions. In addition, a satellite switch can be connected on each side of the handlebar. Carbon fiber reinforced brake levers and brackets ensure the extremely low weight.
