It is complemented by the components of the M5100 and M4100 series, which will equip 11- and 10-speed drivetrains at the same high level.

Regarding the price, the current Shimano Deore groups are positioned in the entry-level range, but are not prepared to compromise in terms of performance, quality, and reliability. Almost everything that the high-end groups XTR, XT, and SLX have to offer in terms of technology, innovation, performance, and range of functions, you will find in the Deore components, too.
