Paint but not as you know it. CHPT3 colors are sprayed layer by layer, sanded back and finished with a coat of carbon black paint by David Millar’s personal frame painter Eduard. Each an individual masterpiece.
Ride where you want. Road or offroad the V+1 does it all.
The V+1 goes where you want to go - road, gravel, mud tracks, wherever. ISO 4210 certification means it is tough and up for the job. Clever design means you can use 700C or 650b wheels with 50mm Tyres.
Symmetrical BB. More stiffness. More Power.
Without a second chainring the tube transitions to the BB are no longer compromised. Now symmetrical the bottom bracket is perfectly balanced with the downtube and chainstay contributing to 30% greater lateral stiffness.
Seatstays and chainstays Refined for more comfort.
Another advantage of a symmetrical bottom bracket is better engineered chainstays and seatstays. New tube profiles provide greater directional stiffness where needed and just the right amount of flex for overall comfort.
1x Gearing Everything you need for road and off-road.
With 11, 12 and 13 speed drivetrains from SRAM, Shimano and Campagnolo, having the right gearing isn’t an issue. Steady climbs, steep climbs or going fast, a 1x drivetrain delivers everything a 2x does and with less mechanical issues.
Tyre clearance All the way up to 50mm.
Want to use 700c wheels with 30mm tyres for riding on the road? No problem. Or maybe 650b wheels with 50mm tyres for a bit of off-road fun. Again not a problem. You can even run 50mm tyres on 700c! Our symmetrical chainstays will accommodate them all, and everything in-between.
Vielo crankarm and chainrings Plenty of gearing options. Fully compatible.
Vielo chainrings are cnc machined at small tolerances from solid billets of 7075 alloy for maximum stiffness. They’re direct mount and available from 38 to 46 teeth and are fully compatible with SRAM Red and Force carbon crank arms. Alternatively, use Vielo 170 to 175mm. Drop-forged aluminium crank arms for impressive stiffness.
