CX RACE Last: The CX RACE last has a slightly narrower toe box and a narrower heel than the Competition last and less volume overall than the Sport last. Designed for riding with a very high cadence and a slimmer fit.

Outsole: Lake Race 100% carbon fiber sole. Compatible with Look/SPD-SL 3-hole cleats. The CX333 uses Lake's patented double sole system. The inner sole is a semi-flexible fiberglass platform that provides the foot with some flexibility in the ball of the foot area, where the foot tends to swell and would typically experience hot spots or numbness. The inner sole is suspended over the outer, rigid carbon sole. With this system, an extremely stiff carbon outsole can be used without compromising comfort.

Upper: Klite Kangaroo leather with leather lining - Kangaroo leather is the lightest, strongest and most durable natural leather. It uses multiple surface treatments to better protect your feet and increase their comfort. The Duratek treatment strengthens the leather and protects it from abrasion, while the antimicrobial Microblok treatment makes the leather uninhabitable for microbes and germs.

Closure: BOA® Fit System Li2 dials. The Li2 dial closure is the most advanced platform in cycling and offers a precise, micro-adjustable fit in both directions and is abrasion resistant.
