Aeris Short-Distance R1 Light is an innovative sprint-distance time-trial and triathlon saddle built to prioritise pressure relief in the forwardmost riding position. Combining weight-saving EVA foam padding with a highly stiff carbon rail and carbon-reinforced nylon shell, Aeris SD R1 Light delivers a balanced approach to performance and support.

• R1 LIGHT CONSTRUCTION
  Engineered for low weight and high-performance riding, R1 Light construction combines a carbon-reinforced nylon shell with ultra-stiff carbon rails for a responsive, lightweight platform. Injected EVA padding delivers low-profile, reactive cushioning that maintains comfort and support without sacrificing the ergonomic shape or increasing thickness. At the same time, the properly dimensioned nose provides the right level of support and stability to allow riders to produce maximum power while in forward, aerodynamic positions. The saddle padding consists of our injected EVA foam: thicker on the nose, where triathletes and time-trialists spend most of their time, and slimmer on the ischial bones to provide a firmer feeling for when riders need to rise from the aero position. The saddle’s surface features a grippy texture that ensures a no-slip hold, minimising unwanted movement that could compromise performance.
