The Colnago G5-X SRAM Force XPLR E1 is a race-oriented carbon gravel bike built on an entirely new platform, not derived from an existing road bike. It is made for riders who race and ride fast on mixed terrain, from technical climbs to long, muddy and multi-day events. With clearance for tyres up to 53 mm, gravel-specific geometry and in-frame storage, it is designed for speed, stability and comfort on rough ground.

• Carbon monocoque frame: A new carbon layup that Colnago describes as softer over rocky, broken surfaces and more responsive on climbs and accelerations.
  
• 53 mm tyre clearance: Wider tyres allow lower pressures for comfort, a bigger contact patch for grip and extra room for mud.
