SUMMER FUN ON WHEELS
Most children here learn to ride the same way children learn everywhere: a parent jogging alongside, one hand on the saddle, a lot of stopping and starting. It works, eventually. It also usually happens in the cooler months, which is part of why so many kids reach eight or nine without ever quite getting there. The good-weather window is short, it fills up fast, and learning to ride keeps sliding down the list.
Wolfi's Cycling Academy Summer Camps flips that. The heat that makes outdoor teaching impractical is the same heat that produced the answer: cool, air-conditioned indoor space where a child can practice on a flat, predictable floor with no traffic, no gravel, and no sun. And summer gives you the one thing the school year never does, a long, uninterrupted run of weeks where consistent practice is finally possible.
That is exactly what Summer Fun on Wheels is built around.
What it is?
Summer Fun on Wheels is our indoor kids' cycling program for ages 6 to 11, running through the summer at two venues: Dubai Sports World at the Dubai World Trade Centre, and Abu Dhabi Summer Sports at ADNEC. Both are large, fully air-conditioned, family-friendly spaces.
You do not need to bring anything. Bikes and helmets are provided, so a child who has never owned a bike can start on day one. Sessions are led by qualified, safeguarding-certified coaches, and to date our programs have worked with more than 3,000 children across 23 schools, including partners like GEMS Education and Repton.
Why summer is the smart time?
Learning to ride is really about balance, coordination, and the confidence that comes from doing something that felt impossible ten minutes earlier. Those things build through repetition, and repetition needs consistency.
A single lesson followed by a three-week gap is how most kids stall out. The summer break removes the competition: no homework, no early alarm, no term-time rhythm to work around. A child can ride two or three times a week for a stretch of weeks, and that density is what turns wobbling into riding. It is also a genuinely useful trade against a summer of screen time. By the time the weather cools in autumn and families head back to the parks, the child who spent the summer learning indoors arrives already able.
A pathway, not a one-off class
The program moves through three levels, so your child starts exactly where they are.
1. Brilliant Balance (Beginner)
First time on two wheels. This is where the journey begins, building balance, coordination, and confidence from scratch.
2. Pedal Power (Intermediate)
Already riding? Level up with better control, road awareness, and group-riding skills in a supportive setting.
3. Pedal Master (Advanced)
Ready for the next challenge: gear shifting, cornering, group riding, and real-world skill, the full package.
Two ways to start
If you are not sure your child is ready to commit, there are two routes in. A Taster Session is a low-pressure introduction, one session to see how they take to it. The Progression Program is the structured pathway that builds skills, confidence, and riding performance over time. Plenty of families start with a taster and move into the pathway once they have seen the grin on the way out.

FAQ
What age is this for?
Ages 6 to 11. What matters more than the exact age is consistency and the right progression, starting with balance before pedaling.
Do we need to bring a bike?
No. Bikes and helmets are provided, so your child can start even if they have never owned one. (If you do want to buy one, our Kids Bike Buyers Guide is a good starting point.)
Where and when does it run?
Indoors at Dubai Sports World (Dubai World Trade Centre) and Abu Dhabi Summer Sports (ADNEC), through the summer. Session dates and times are on the booking page.
