The 2024 edition of the Tour de France, the 111th in its storied history, promises an exhilarating spectacle of endurance, strategy, and athleticism. Kicking off in Florence, Italy, for the first time in its history, the race features a diverse and challenging route spanning over 3,400 kilometers. The peloton will navigate through the picturesque landscapes of Italy and France, including iconic climbs such as Col Du Galibier, Tourmalet and Turini.
This edition will see reigning champion Jonas Vinegaard defend his title against the in-form Tadej Pogačar, Primož Roglič, Remco Evenepoel, Pello Bilbao and Carlos Rodriguez. The 2024 Tour de France is set to test the world's best cyclists to their limits, combining high mountain stages with fast sprint stages, before culminating in a non-traditional grand finish, a time trial from Monaco to Nice.
