Wheelset Front & Rear
The most advanced DT Swiss aero disc brake wheelset for new top speeds while handling the bike safely anytime.

The latest generation of ARC 1100 DICUT wheels was developed in cooperation with SWISS SIDE, a leading expert in aerodynamic optimization. Consequently, the new AERO+ rim profile minimizes both aero drag and steering moment to improve its aerodynamic and control in even strong cross winds. Thus, it makes it easier for the rider to keep the aero wheel under control while taking advantage of the forward-pushing sailing effect. The new DT Swiss aero spokes complete the wheel setup with the sleek 180 DICUT hub, including ultra-light running SINC ceramic bearings.

  • The Wheels Ridden by the Pros - The double white decals make these wheels instantly recognizable in the pro peloton. Put with them the finishing touches on your dream build and start leading the pack.
  • Wheel Tire System - Now available as an aero-optimized wheel tire system (WTS) mounted with the new AERO 111 tire in the front.
  • RIM HEIGHT - Available in disc brake version in 50 mm.
  • Rim - Each rim is designed for a specific riding environment, from 38 mm ideal for big climbs, to 80 mm for all-out triathlons and time trials.
  • HUB - New aero 180 DICUT hubs with low-friction SINC Ceramic bearings.
  • Spokes - The latest generation of aerodynamically optimized spokes for lower rotational and translational drag.

Wheel Tire System (WTs)

The development of the Wheel Tire System follows our AERO+ concept as a symbiosis of drag, handling and efficiency. We applied this technology to our Aero and Endurance categories, bringing up their aero gains to the next level with a tailored tire, ideally suiting their respective inner rim widths.

Aero+

When refining a wheel according to AERO+, the optimization of all parameters is subject to one single goal: higher speeds!

Ratchet Exp

Ratchet technology ensures simple maintenance, reduced weight, and minimal wear. Its efficient design delivers superior reliability.

Sinc Ceramic

These ball bearings were developed by DT Swiss in order to reduce the rolling resistance to an absolute minimum. The balls are made from silicon nitride (Si3N4), an extremely tough and wear- and corrosion-resistant ceramic material. Combined with steel alloy bearing rings, the hardened ceramic bearing balls will ensure a smoother function over time and a faster run-in than conventional steel bearings.

Tubeless

Tubeless tires have a number of advantages over the conventional combination of tube and tire: without risking snakebites, the tire can be run with lower pressures providing better grip. The lower pressure also results in a more comfortable ride. Eliminating the tube means there is no friction between tube and tire and therefore less rolling resistance when the tire rolls over the ground and obstacles. If tubeless sealant is used, the tire can self-seal stings and small cuts. A big advantage for all those who like to ride long and far from the next bikeshop.
